Hello
I'm thrilled to share a bit about my journey and why I'm so passionate about what I do.

I am a Naturopathic Physician, Yoga and Ayurveda specialist, Leader in Young Adult Wellness, and the founder of Remedy Holistic Health in Princeton, NJ. I am dedicated to empowering students to overcome mood disorders and thrive.

My Story
Embarking on my undergraduate journey, I started as pre-pharmacy with an interest in the healthcare field. However, my love for holistic health led me to a pre-medical track in Nutritional Sciences. While learning about the body and nutrition was insightful, I felt frustrated by the void in holistic health and preventative medicine. After completing my BS in Nutritional Sciences and a minor in Chemistry, I dove into naturopathic medical school with excitement and determination, fueled by my love for holistic healing and well-being.
During my undergraduate years, I faced challenges with menstrual health, addressing them successfully through mindful dietary choices, lifestyle adjustments, and naturopathic medicine principles. As I delved into naturopathic medical school, anxiety and burnout became unwelcome companions. It was only through turning to naturopathic medicine and homeopathy that I discovered the profound support I sought and became the doctor I envisioned for others.

In both instances, the guiding light came from caring and knowledgeable naturopathic physicians who not only understood my symptoms but skillfully steered me through my intricate health journeys. This personal transformation fueled my determination to be the doctor I needed during those years. My mission is unequivocal—to assist young people in overcoming mood disorders, and achieving emotional balance, ensuring they never face their symptoms alone.

I'm Dr. Amy Patel, a licensed Naturopathic Doctor specializing in mental well-being and homeopathy. Rooted in compassion, my approach places active listening and solutions at the forefront.

In naturopathic medical school, I eagerly explored various natural modalities, including homeopathy, IV therapy, herbal medicine, and acupuncture. My diverse training reflects my unwavering commitment to uncovering the root cause of health issues. Beyond the classroom, I journeyed to India to immerse myself in Ayurveda and Yoga, obtaining my yoga teacher certification and delving into ancient intelligence. Subsequently, during my general family medicine residency, I served as a naturopathic primary care physician, utilizing a comprehensive range of modalities tailored to each patient's needs.
My approach has always been to gain extensive experience without specializing in one treatment method. Working in bustling clinics allowed me to hone my skills and become an exceptional physician.

Through my experiences, I intimately understand the stresses and obstacles that college students and young women face in pursuit of personal satisfaction, success, and wellness. Whether you're juggling classes, and extracurriculars, succeeding in your career and personal life, or balancing success and motherhood, I'm here to guide you through those challenges with health and wellness.
I believe there is more to help help you thrive and be your best self. I hope to see you soon.

Warm regards,
Dr. Amy Patel, ND
